Unfortunately, he ran into that lunatic Dr. Loomis, who pulled a piece on him (with a bunch of little kids around no less), and then chased him out into the street. At that point he was struck by a speeding cop car and smashed into the side of a nearby van. The van then burst into flames, burning poor Ben alive. A very crappy way to end your Halloween night. Not to mention he didn't even get to take Laurie out on a date. ⁣
