Friday the 13th part 3 - Custom Horror Trading Card Sticker Set
$25.00
Description
Back in 1982 our favorite summer camp slasher evolved into his most iconic form when he received his signature hockey mask from lovable, doomed prankster Shelly.
Not only did this signal an evolution in the series but also marked a return to a film gimmick that had been previously experimented with back in the 1950s.
Friday the 13th part 3 or Friday the 13th part 3D as it is sometimes known, brought back somewhat awkwardly in certain scenes, the gimmick of things flying at the screen in order to take advantage of 3D technology. While not wholly successful, the technique is looked back on fondly in a quaint and charming way despite it's shortcomings.
While not quite reaching the apex of the series popularity at the time, it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if a company like Topps made trading cards based on the Friday the 13th franchise. Oftentimes with these non-sports trading cards Topps would also include stickers.
This latest release from Jack's Attic imagines a world in which back in 1982 we got some Friday the 13th part 3 stickers. This three (3) card custom set features the signature kiss cut stickers that were all the rage back in the late '70s and early '80s.
Featuring the high quality and attention to detail that Jack's Attic has come to be known for, this three (3) piece sticker set is sure to please even the most discerning Friday the 13th and slasher movie fan.
Featuring Jason in his iconic hockey mask as well as unmasked, the set also features Mrs. Voorhees from the films opening title sequence which also gave us that killer disco theme.
Cards will be shipped securely in a penny sleeve inside a sealed toploader.
While these cards are professionally printed, they are assembled and cut by hand and as such, there will be ever so slight variances in the card dimensions and centering. They should be viewed as small batch, handmade, collectible art pieces.
