Back in 1987, in conjunction with the release of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors, Movie Time Popcorn issued a limited edition trading card on the backs of their microwave popcorn boxes. There were two (2) different cards that were issued; one on the back of the regular microwave popcorn and a second on the back of the extra butter flavor. Each card featured a distinctive picture of Freddy from Dream Warriors. The back of the cards contained advertising for the VHS release of Dream Warriors as well as coupons for Movie Time Popcorn.⁣

As the Dream Warriors cards were printed on the back of the boxes, many of them were thrown away when the popcorn was gone. Others that were saved were often miscut or sacrificed for the coupon on the back of the card.

I've painstakingly taken the time to hand-cut each card from the packaging and I'm now offering them to all of you.*⁣

This two (2) card set is hand-numbered to only 50 pieces.⁣

Cards will be shipped securely in a penny sleeve inside a sealed toploader.⁣⁣⁣

While these cards are professionally printed, they are assembled and cut by hand and as such, there will be ever so slight variances in the card dimensions and centering. They should be viewed as small batch, handmade, collectible art pieces.⁣⁣

*This is just an "unfiction" created by the artist and imagines a world in which Movie Time Popcorn actually existed and did include A Nightmare Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors trading cards on their packaging. It's just a wink and a nudge to a collectible that could have existed.⁣
